India's pace spearhead, Jasprit Bumrah, stole the spotlight in the ongoing second Test against England with a remarkable six-wicket haul. On Day 2 in Vishakhapatnam, Bumrah's fiery spell included a searing yorker that dismantled Ollie Pope's stumps and a delivery that left England skipper Ben Stokes visibly frustrated. In a heartwarming gesture, Bumrah dedicated his outstanding performance, finishing with figures of 6/45, to his son Angad, who is accompanying him on his first tour.
"I will dedicate this to my son. This is his first tour and he is travelling with me. I am excited to see him," said Bumrah.
Bumrah's exceptional display was one of the many highlights on Day 2, which featured Yashasvi Jaiswal's maiden double century and Zak Crawley's impressive counterattack after India had posted a significant total in the first innings. In a video posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Bumrah expressed his joy at reaching the milestone of 150 Test wickets but emphasized that team success holds greater significance for him.
